I´m amazed to find someone attempting such a mindblowing adventure. I cannot begin to imagine the effort and logistics.
I have a question though about the Zebra battery if I may? Is it possible to be purchased for privateers? As when I checked they werern´t available as such. I feel any other battery is no where near this technology for reliability, durability, safety and lifetime cost.

Hey Louis, Thomas and Frank - great to see you made it to Luang Prabang - we were also there in about 1992 - it's a really amazing place - though we seem to recall the roads got a lot rougher from there on to the Chinese border! We took a boat up the Mekong instead...
