Rob Glassey, the team manager of the solar fern solar car, had offered to take me around today for a sightseeing tour in Chritchurch. Of course by solartaxi. I took some nice pictures.
As there is still no bridge linking Australia with New Zealand, I brought the car to Jeffs place, a company dealing with washing and cleaninng cars that go to Australia or enter New Zealand. For the first time since long time the car looked really new and shiny again, so we waved bye bye to the solartaxi and handed it over into the Sandra from my Swiss logistics supporter, Kuehne + Nagel. It is in their hand now and on around 1. February I should get the car back and drive it around on the streets of Sydney.
