Cabin Fever10.01.2008

Picture of the day

Still 60 Miles to go until we reach the Northern tip of New Zealand, then another day until we reach the harbour of Wangharei. We are still on board of the Rainbow Warrior, and it looks like we culd be ready on the road already on Friday. Slowly we all develop a sort of "cabin fewer". This is a so called symptom, when seamen arrive close to the harbour after many weeks on the Sea, when they start being restless and can't wait until they get back on land again.

Our planned route is Whangarei-Auckland-Wellington-Christchurch-Dunedin. Any help like offering an overnight.parking for the car, electricity for charging the battery from renewable sources, organising the media or a place to stay etc. is highly appreciated.

Fantastic! You are giving a message that needs to be heard.

Need a bed and a meal in Palmy then call 06 357 2247. My boys (8, 6, 3, and 2) would be delighted to see you and the car. Unfortunately we can only offer grid electricity, although we are considering a domestic wind turbine.
