My New Zealand tour has come to an end today. After giving a roadside interview to the "Press", the local newspaper, I arrived in Christchurch and went straight to John and Diana's place, the "Huntley House".
In the evening, I held a presentation at the university, but before that I met Rob Glassey, the team leader of the "Solar Fern Solar Car Team", together with his car and his team. This is one of the few private solar car teams in the world. They built this car for competing in the Australian World Solar Challenge in last October. I was even alowed to drve their car, while the team could drive my car, too.
And also Ulrich Bergler showed up with his Hybrid bus, the only commercially available Hybrid bus in the world. It works with a 30 kW gas turbine (LPG) since ten years here in Christchurch already, and his busses are used in city traffic all over the world, like in Australia or the US.
It was a very interesting evening.

Had I known more before you landed in Chch I would have found a place to stay for you both.
