After 51500 km we are back in Berlin! I got here late at night, but I had an even stronger heartbeat when I realized that I drove next to the "Goldene Else", the first place in Berlin I remembered I have been to, just 16 months ago! There was a warm welcome in Thomas' family in Karlshorst, where we celebrated the world circumnavigation late at night.
The Swiss Embassy, for the last time now, has arranged another press event, and I was invited for two lectures at the "Technische Universität". In between, we showed up in Potsdam at Radio Berlin Brandenburg and met the two most famous radio guys of Berlin, who made an interview with me and Thomas, my technical supporter, who originates from here.
But then, the whole night, there was the big solartaxi in the "Babbel". In my new presentation, I had included much more pictures, so it would last 60 minutes, but finally I got so tired and exhausted that I coulden´t even imagine to talk for 5 minutes. Luckily, Thomas brought me a Red Bull, and so I could get back to normal power level and I could lead much more than a 100 people through the evening and around the world with my presentation. It was a great, phenomenal and really enthusiastic comeback party with all my Berlin team members who ever joined us on the way, like Katja, Erik, Gogo, Laura, Joerg, Florian, Martin and of course Thomas. And, last but not least, many thanks to the Club of Pioneers who sponsored the drinks!!!
Watching the pictures, I couldnt even believe it myself what we have seen and where we have been. I guess I will need much time to digest and to think about all the things we have seen and people we have met. It was an incredible adventure that has come to a first end, this night.
