Solartaxi on the boat ... and now making a plan for Europe04.10.2008

Picture of the day

While the solartaxi is on the boat, we are looking for supporters in Europe for our final leg of the World Tour. What we are looking for are hosts, safe parking places, or simply people to meet. Send us an email to solartaxi @ gmail.com if you think you can help. Any support is highly appreciated!

In the meantime, the solartaxi is now on the boat to Barcelona. Unfortunately, for those of you who were waiting for the solartaxi to arrive in Africa, I must tell that the boat to Africa broke down. So we are now taking the next boat, and that will take us to Barcelona. From there, we are going to make it across France, UK, the Benelux, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Poland to the next United Nations World Climate Change Conference in Poznan.

We make a litle break and continue the blog around Oct. 20. See you in Europe!

Hello,
I wanted to know what's the program for the day in Lyon. Are you going to stay the whole day in the town?
I find it great that you're making this trip through Europe!

Hi there! I send you the best wishes for your European leg from down here in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I myself hitched around the globe over 200.000km, so I know what you might or might encounter. And even though I can't give you any physical support from SP, my congrats and the desire for your complete success is the least I can send your way. I heard of you from Daisuke, who I met in Africa and later in SA again.
I hope that rather sooner than later we'll all drive solar powered cars.
Bye Giorgio
