Welcome to the first world tour of a vehicle powered only by solar energy!

One of my first invitations I have received for this world tour came from the Canadian Space Agency. This happened about two years ago, so months before I started in Switzerland. Having an invitation from CSA was always a big motivation for me to keep on doing what I do, so arriving here, after 44997 km of travelling, was like a dream had come true!
The Canadian Space Agency in these days is thinking of ways how terrestrial exploration can help us to solve our problems on Earth. They would like to develop the lunar rover for the next moon exploration programme. That's why I felt very honoured to get an invitation from CSA in St. Hubert and have a presentation there. To share common ideas and interests. I met the president, former astronaut Steve McLean, and senior manager Louis Grenier, and I was happy to let them drive the "solar taxi" on Earth, around their building. So they can get some experience and learn how it is to drive a "moon taxi" one day on the moon... :)
