what type of solar cells are used for electric production? how many miles per gallon of gas compartively speaking? what would the cost of vehicale be sold at? thankyou for your reply!

I saw your most innovative car today...very impressive...to reduce the solar footprint is it possible to use a solar concentrator unit?

we use normal monocrystalline silicon solarcells from Q-cells, hole array is about 850W peak output.
The solartaxi uses about 8kWh/100km
If we would produce 100000 solartaxis it would cost abut 8000 dollar, but it was never intended for mass production, it is just a prototype, a showpiece.
