We are now surfing down the wild Oregon Coast to California. Nice sunshine, great scenery, big fun! From Seattle to Portland and Davis: These days are ment to be pure driving,and no events. But in Portland I get sick with a fever and cough, so we end up stuck in Ty's house. After two nights in Portland, I decide to go on with the tour, feeling a little bit better. The great scenery offers a greater outlook...

I saw you driving down 101 just north of Trinidad yesterday! My class and I followed your trip all last year. I"m sorry I didn't contact you sooner. Are you still in northern CA?

I missed you guys in Seattle last weekend. You should be seeing what is left of the redwood forest :( , and headed down 101 towards the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. On the way, you will be passing through California's wine country as well as Geyser country. California's geothermal power plants produce about one-half of the world's geothermally generated electricity. I hope you get some great pictures of what the US has started to do...
