Getting lost with Achim Steiner12.12.2007

Nick Nuttal from UNEP called me to pick up the Executive Director of UNEP, Achim Steiner, at the Nico Hotel, about 5 kms from the Conference Center. We had a very nice conversation, we talked and talked, and I dont know how, but we ended up outside of Nusa Dua ion a village. I had to ask the villagers how to get back to Nusa Dua. It was a funny ride!
Asking Mr. Steiner about the futire of this world, he said that human beings are not "Lemmings" (a specie known to commit suicide in the North Sea). So, then, this conference must become a success, I hope the Bali Road map will be a suxess!
The solartaxi is still operating from morning 8 to evening 8, and we are completly booked by media. So far, our media exposure worldwide is far more than we ever expected. The solartaxi is certainly one of the main attractions, if not even THE main attraction of the conference. I am getting news from all continents about media apprearances. Yesterday teams from Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, South Corea, Australia etc. were interviewing me, and tomorrow I am expecting the Chinese News Agency, Globo TV (Brasil), deutsche Welle TV (Germany) etc.
Our message is always the same: Yes, there are solutions to combat global warming! If we can drive this self-made little car around the world, its time to start a mass production fo clean vehicles. They can be built for a reasonable price of 6000 Euro, and the solar cells belong on the top of everyone's house.
Mr. Achim Steiner has invited us to visit the next UN Climate Change conference in one years time in Poland. If everything goes well, we will board the Rainbow Warrior next saturday and then sail to... Neu Zealand. Hey, wait a minute. We never wanted to go there actually. If you have an idea what to do and who to meet there on that Ilsna dof 3 million people and 60 million sheep, please tell us!!
