Solartaxi World Tour Coming to US and Canada Swiss adventurer Louis Palmer, who is driving around the world in his three-wheeled, solar-powered Solartaxi EV (earlier post), will be arriving in North America at the end of June. The round-the world tour started in Lucerne, Switzerland, in July 2007, and will finish there later this year after a swing through through Maroc and Western Europe.

Solartaxi Heats Up Beijing. The Solartaxi, the first solar car to be driven around the world, is on the verge of completing its 39-day tour of China to raise environmental awareness. Beijing will be the last stop for the Solartaxi Innovation Tour in China from May 20-24. Energy initiatives for the 2008 Olympic Games will be explored during this trip.
